Hospitality may be allowed to re-open today but unfortunately one Teddington pub will see its doors permanently close.

Despite bringing you the exclusive relaunch of the pub back in October this is now no longer coming to pass.

The pub closing is a prime example of just how tough 2020 has been for hospitality.

Management at The Clock House said in an Instagram post:

"It is with a heavy heart that I announce that The Clock House has rung Last Orders once again.

"The Team as well as the Management are gutted but in these uncertain times and increasing pressure and decisions from Third Parties we have decided to Call Time!

"We can't thank our Patrons enough for their support and kind messages received today as the heartbreaking news has spread. Your messages have made OUR efforts to succeed worthwhile!

"The AMAZING Clock House Team showed that even in the face of a Global Pandemic WE could put smiles on our Patrons faces!

"Thank you all and WE wish you ALL a Happy Christmas and a Healthy New Year!"

Hospitality reopens today and hopefully this is the last Teddington pub that does not make it through 2020
