There has been a road traffic accident along Broad Street in Teddington today, 26 April.

Firefighters were called at 11:47am after a lorry collided with scaffolding.

Eye witnesses report the road being taped off with two fire engines attending the scene.

No one has been injured in the accident according to a London Fire Brigade spokesperson.

However the road will be closed and firefighters will remain at the scene as a precaution while the scaffolding damaged in the incident is made safe.
