Bus strikes are set to affect a number of TFL routes next week.

This includes routes in Teddington on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th of March.

The strikes have come as bus drivers with trade union Unite take action against parent company RATP Group over new contracts and pay cuts.

A TFL statement read: "The statement read: "If the proposed action goes ahead it will only affect a small proportion of the capital's buses, with 59 day routes, six 24-hour routes, six night routes and nine school routes - predominately in south west London – expected to be affected.

"TfL will ensure as many bus services run as possible but customers in west, south west and north west London and parts of Surrey and Hertfordshire are advised to check before they travel on Wednesday 3, Friday 5 and Saturday 6 March."

The routes in Teddington affected are the 281 that runs between Hounslow and Tolworth and the 33 from Fulwell to Castelnau
