Charities and good causes have had an impossibly difficult year.
Luckily here at Nub News we are here top help.
Everyday over the Christmas period we will be producing a feature on 12 charities.
The feature will detail what these charities do and how you can get involved.
We'll be running the '12 days of Christmas' series from Wednesday December 23rd to Sunday January 5th.
The charities have been selected either through volunteering themselves, being nominated by someone or one Nub News has especially picked!
So in no particular order here are the 12 local charities and groups selected.
