The lattes COVID-19 statistics for Richmond Borough are here.

The Leader of Richmond Council, Gareth Roberts, has set them out above.

You can watch the Liberal Democrat Councillor for Hampton's address above.

Alternatively here are the highlights of the speech:

Infection rate in the borough over the last week is 295 per 100,000.

This equates to 585 new cases found in the last seven days.

11 deaths were recorded - on what was a record high week of deaths in the UK.

7,540 people have been tested with an 8.8% positive return rate (discrepancy due to multiple tests).

Lockdown is working but Cllr Roberts urged people to remain vigilant - this includes less people using children's play areas which are becoming increasingly busy.

While not the law Cllr Roberts also advises to wear face masks in queues outside supermarkets - they are mandatory on the shop.
