Open to secondary school students with some fundamental music experience in playing an instrument (Grade 3 or equivalent) or singing. A 2-day course designed to immerse students in songwriting and production processes. Focusing on melody and lyric crafting, arrangement, performance, and DIY recording. Students will finish the course having contributed to the composition and recording of their own song. This course will prioritize group activity, promoting collaboration and compromise in a musical setting.

Materials Provided: Keyboard, Piano, speakers, microphones

Materials Required: Instruments (including a small amplifier if possible when bringing an electric guitar)
