The Middlesex Yeomanry Autumn Concert will be held on Sunday 13th October in St.James's Church, Hampton Hill at 3.00pm.   This is a very special concert as we say farewell to bandmaster Mike Robinson who is retiring after 34 years at the helm. An eclectic programme starts with the march Arromanches remembering the 80th anniversary of D-Day and is followed by the rousing overture Plymouth Hoe. By contrast we shall also play Elton John's ballad in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales, Candle In The Wind. Mike was a principle with the RAF Central Band and the concert would not be complete without the Spitfire Prelude. Profits will be shared between the Shooting Star Children's Hospices and Space2 grieve.
