Come and share this upcoming 350 year anniversary for Thomas Traherne. Over the centuries, this area has been home to many remarkable people (and inventions!) and Traherne is definitely one of them. Thomas's work remained mostly unknown in his lifetime but he has subsequently emerged as one of the greatest poets and spiritual writers of the 17th century. He was a local resident, scholar, poet and priest, and Thomas was buried beneath St Mary with St Alban Church, Teddington in 1674.
