Open to all adults – no experience required. This workshop focuses on observing and creating visual representations of nature while exploring the banks of the River Thames. Participants will enhance their observation skills and create sketches and watercolour paintings.

Skills Developed:

• Quick sketches for hand-eye coordination
• Composition using a viewfinder
• Longer sketches and watercolour sketches

Materials Provided: Drawing paper, boards, graphite pencils, pastels, charcoals, watercolours.

Materials Required: Sketchbook, something to lean on, bulldog clips, graphite pencils (2B-6B), other drawing materials, watercolour paints, brushes, packed lunch, sunscreen, hat, jacket.

Tutor: Louise Anderson, multi-disciplinary artist and tutor.

Times: 10am - 4pm
