Open to all adults – no experience required. This 2-day workshop teaches the techniques of Papier Mache in art creation. Masterpieces of Gustav Klimt and Wu Guan Zhong's work of symbols and patterns will be studied and applied in participants' artwork.

Workshop Outline:

• Day 1: Designing the object, making a draft, planning colours/patterns, starting the model.
• Day 2: Completing the object, colouring, and polishing.

Materials Provided: Glue, Acrylic paint, lacquer; masking tape, brushes

Materials Required: Pencil, Pen, eraser, cardboard or unwanted boxes/containers, a couple of newspapers

Tutor: Fan Wong, PhD, studied Fine Art, Visual Culture, and Art Education in the UK and HK.
