For children aged 8+ accompanied by an adult (up to 2 children per adult; tickets sold per child). This 2-hour class allows families to try stone carving, creating an image on a flat tablet of limestone using hand tools. Suitable for beginners.

Skills Developed:

• Designing relief
• Using a flat chisel to set out design
• Making textures with a claw chisel
• Using a rifler to smooth design and add detail

Materials Provided: Stone, tools, and safety equipment included. Bring an apron, old clothes, and stout shoes.

Materials Required: Optional: Prepared design, sketches, or pictures for inspiration (simple images with bold, clear outlines are best).
