Two sessions are available: 10 - 12.30 pm and 1.30 - 4.00 pm

For those with prior watercolour painting experience. There are also courses on Tuesday afternoons aimed at total beginners and those who want to improve or revise their skills in the art of Botanical Painting and Drawing. (If you are unsure about your level it might worth starting with the Tuesday class). All students will have individual and group tuition.

During the course you will be shown how to produce: a good pencil outline of the chosen subject (flowers, leaves, vegetables, berries etc); the correct colour by mixing paints to obtain the correct colour required; create depth and movement by use of tonal values; an even and precise watercolour wash; an acceptable way of correcting mistakes, it can be done!
