Teddington and Hampton are great places to live for so many different types of people.

It's got that magic formula that makes it a fantastic location for families, couples and singles alike, of all ages. Here's a little flavour of some of my favourite places, and why I love them so much…

Teddington

Teddington is home to stunning Victorian avenues, coffee shops and cafes galore. It has a countrified feel to its leafy streets and riverside, making Teddington a simply gorgeous place to live – and it's still only 35 minutes overland into Waterloo Station.

Teddington boasts a sports centre and rugby club, along with more highly-acclaimed schools. There are plenty of bars and restaurants that cater for families and big nights out alike, and access to Bushy Park is a big plus point too (more on this below).

Family-sized houses are cheaper again in Teddington, and there are some beautiful properties available, with great access to everything the area has going for it.

Hampton

Bushy Park and some fabulous riverside dining are two of the things that set Hampton apart, and it shares the same great transport links and school assets as Twickenham and Teddington. House prices are lower in Hampton than in the other two, and there's plenty to choose from.

Bushy Park is one of the main reasons families are attracted here, and it's the second largest Royal Park (second, as we know, to Richmond). Famous for its roaming fallow deer, Bushy has a mixture of grassland and formal gardens to explore, as well as attractive waterways – and it hosts a number of fabulous cultural events throughout the year.

History, outdoor spaces, culture, brilliant schools, and excellent transport – what more could you possibly want?

Sharing why I love my area with people who are thinking of moving into it is one of the best parts of this job. So wherever you'd like to be in the London Borough of Richmond, if you'd like to find out more about the properties we have on offer, I would love to hear from you!

As ever, thank you for reading and stay safe.
