Platinum Recruitment is supporting a private girls school in Kingston Upon Thames who are looking for a temporary facilities assistant to support for 3 months.

A valid Enhanced DBS with child barred list is essential for this role.

What's in it for you?

• Working hours 08:00 - 17:00
• Monday - Friday and Saturday Mornings on a rota basis
• Weekly pay (paid each Friday).

• 14 per hour

What's involved?

As a temporary facilities assistant you will report into the Premises Manager. As part of the premises team, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective provision of health and safety,security, maintenance, cleaning and porterage services in accordance with internal and external health & safety and other relevant regulations, guidelines and procedures. To ensure the high standards are reflected in the safety, upkeep and appearance of the school buildings and grounds. To support the Bursar with liaison with external users and to facilitate such bookings and events.

Necessary role-related knowledge, skills and experience

• Physically able to operate heavy duty equipment and lift and move heavy objects
• Able to use own initiative
• High standards of cleaning
• Skilled and knowledgeable in routine maintenance activitie
• Good working knowledge of health and safety requirements
• Able to use ICT, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
