Your views on Tier 2 lockdown as Richmond Borough has highest COVID-19 rate in London

Richmond Borough is once again the place in London with the highest COVID-19 rate in London.
Our statistics are likely to be inflated somewhat by students outside the area testing positive and still being registered with their GP here.
However cases are unquestionably rising as Richmond now has a coronavirus rate of 135 per 100,000 people.
Teddington itself has some of the highest rates within the borough.
A Tier Two Lockdown for London is likely on the cards in the next week as the capital's MPs attend a government briefing this morning.
This new stage of lockdown would mean that households would be banned from mixing indoors across the city.
Yesterday we asked your opinion on a local lockdown on our area.
Stephen Leader said: "Certainly not we just need All Public Houses and Eateries to stick to the Rules with no exceptions and for the University's to take control of the Students and ban all Off Sales alcohol after 7pm."
Stephan Avetoom said: "Not if you want a lot of empty shops and higher unemployment."
Robert Maynard said: "If we all stick to keeping social distancing. wearing masks when we need to we can at least slow the c rate down. Common sense is needed."
Marie Branch Lamidey said: "What we need is for the rules to be enforced. Most people try their best to follow the rules but they will carry on following the rules, whatever they are. We all have a different version of common sense, so we can rely on that. Some people only follow the rules when they are made to. So if everyone was actually following the current rules, we wouldn't be where we are now."
Avril Coelho said: "The two weeks circuit break would need to be decided on before half term so pupils can benefit from a week of it too. The down side is that it would take the government more than two weeks to get funding to those losing earnings as opposition parties who need to lobby them for weeks and what if two or three weeks isn't long enough to stop the spread as we locked down for longer in spring and summer as it was warming up rather than flu season in colder weather."
It seems overall people are keen to avoid a further lockdown but that decision may well be taken out of our hands.
