Teddington breakfast briefing: No trains from Teddington to London this Sunday

Today's weather: Sunny changing to cloudy in the afternoon. Chilly, with highs of 10° around 3pm.

Outlook for the weekend: Saturday starts cloudy with patchy drizzle. Brighter weather will develop during the morning and early afternoon. However, thickening cloud will bring patchy rain into the evening. Milder, but rather windy. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Sunday will be mostly dry and bright, but still rather windy. Highs of 12° around 12pm.

Travel update

Trains: Some disruption to train services today following a signalling issue between Clapham Junction and London Waterloo. South Western Railway estimates services will be back to normal around 9am.

Planned engineering works on Sunday

Trains to London Waterloo from Teddington, Strawberry Hill, Fulwell, Hampton and Hampton Wick will not be running for all of Sunday.

Trains from London to Kingston are also affected as maintenance work is done on the London Waterloo to Wimbledon line.

Services from Twickenham to London via the Richmond route will be running and bus replacement services will be put on between Clapham Junction and Twickenham via Wimbledon and Kingston.
