General Manager Based Kingston
Basic salary is between £45,000 up to £52,000 depending on experience, plus bonus and various incentive schemes, employee discounts, pension, holidays etc.
Candidates must have flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends, as and when required.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly progressive company who are seeking a dynamic General Manager with experience of working in a fast-paced environment within the hospitality, entertainment, sports venue, or arcade industry.
As this is a new role, you will be an experienced General Manager who can demonstrate experience of managing and leading a team of managers along with twenty-five staff within all areas of operations which include kitchen (food & beverage) and bar operations.
As the General Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the site and ensuring a first-class customer experience for all visitors whilst enhancing business performance and establish a welcoming environment that encourages guests to return.

Duties
- You will have excellent leadership and management and able to provide guidance and support to your team ensuring a high standard of service and operational efficiency and ensure a positive enthusiastic and customer-centric work environment
- You will oversee the operations of the arcade sports areas two bars and kitchen, ensuring all areas are functioning optimally and ensure high standards of cleanliness maintenance and safety across all areas of the venue
- Maintain all stock levels monitor inventory and liaise with suppliers
- Oversee the food and beverage offerings ensuring timely and quality service to guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, ensure food standards are met and assist with menu planning and pricing
- Ensure that the venue offers an exceptional experience for both families during the day and adults in the evening
- Create and execute strategies to enhance guest engagement satisfaction and loyalty
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a prompt and professional manner
- Monitor and drive venue revenue focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support and promote events parties and special occasions (both kids and adults).
- Help grow brand presence and market the venue effectively within the local community.
- Oversee the seamless operation of a cashless payment system across the venue.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations including food safety alcohol service and customer safety in all areas and conduct regular health and safety checks including risk assessments to minimize potential hazards.
