We are looking for an CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) inspector. Who will ensure the dimensional accuracy of manufactured products by operating and maintaining CMM equipment. Experience in analysing measurements, identify discrepancies, and generate reports to verify that parts meet design specifications and quality standards.

You will be required to have experience in the following:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating CMMs:

CMM Inspectors use coordinate measuring machines to take precise measurements of various features on manufactured parts.

  • Reading and Interpreting Drawings:

They must understand engineering drawings and blueprints to identify critical dimensions and tolerances.

  • Performing Inspections:

CMM Inspectors conduct inspections using the CMM, often supplementing it with other measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.

  • Analyzing Data:

They analyze the data collected by the CMM to determine if the part conforms to specifications.

  • Generating Reports:

CMM Inspectors create detailed reports documenting the inspection results, including any deviations from the required standards.

  • Troubleshooting:

They identify and troubleshoot any issues with the CMM equipment or measurement processes.

  • Collaboration:

CMM Inspectors collaborate with engineers to develop and optimize inspection methods, and to address any quality issues identified.

  • Maintaining Quality Standards:

Ensuring that products meet the required specifications and standards throughout the production process.

In essence, as a CMM Inspector you will play a vital role in quality control, ensuring that manufactured parts are accurate and meet the necessary requirements before they are used in further production or assembled into final products.
