Psychology Teacher Kingston Secondary School

An Outstanding secondary school in Kingston requires a passionate and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join their department. This is a full-time, permanent position, primarily teaching Key Stages 4 and 5.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Psychology lessons.
  • Cover a range of topics, including cognitive, social, developmental, and biological psychology.
  • Prepare students for success in Psychology examinations (e.g., GCSE, A-Level).
  • Foster critical thinking, research skills, and an understanding of ethical issues in psychology.
  • Contribute to the development of the Psychology curriculum.
  • Teaching at an Outstanding school.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A degree in Psychology or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Psychology at the secondary level (Key Stages 4 and 5).
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for psychology.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Be a Psychology Teacher
