We are looking for a Debt Recovery Assistant to work with a Local Authority to help with collecting debt from its residents. This role is based in Surrey.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Assist the council with recovering debts from residents - Manage any enquiries that are received from residents regarding debt - Develop repayment plans and manage direct debits

Candidate requirements: - Up to date knowledge of the following areas: o Local Taxation o Housing Benefits Overpayments o Sundry Debt Recovery - Experience of working within a similar role previously for another Local Authority
