A Teddington Café owner has taken over a former café located in Strawberry Hill, Twickenham.

Ben Phillips, owner of Teddington's Café Benedict, has transformed the former Antipodea café in Radnor Gardens into a new café called Parsnips in the Park.

Antipodea, which was owned by an Australian chain, first opened in the summer of 2021 and closed down in the spring of 2023 following repeated break-ins, vandalism and antisocial behaviour which left staff in fear.

The new café sells Jersey cream soft serve, clamshell toasties, smoothies, and much more.

It also dog-friendly and has a "great team of baristas smashing out perfect flat whites".
