Ted's Market, which first began in October last year, will be returning to its original timetable of only running on the last Saturday of each month.

Since April this year, the market has been operating on the second and last Saturday of each month, adding an extra market day for locals to enjoy.

However, from September, it will only run on the last Saturday of each month but will not be hosting a market day next month (August) due to it having a summer break.

Speaking about the timetable change, Ted's Market said: "Going back to our roots with an important schedule change.

"We will be hosting the market on the last Saturday of the month, instead of twice per month.

"We started out as a monthly market and grew a really lovely community along the way. When we went to twice per month, it's been a juggle to manage the trader rotation, but also to keep the footfall high.

"We'll have a few new stands from September, but the core stays the same."

The market will be returning to its usual spot in the car park of The King's Head Pub this Saturday (26 July) from 9.30am – 1.30pm.
