Hampton's Weekend of Steam – Saturday 16 & Sunday 17 March
There's lots to do on Hampton and Kempton's Waterworks Railway's first-of-the-season steam train rides.
Along with taking a trip on 'Darent,' the railway's beautiful 1903 locomotive, there's a lovely picnic field with a play train to keep families happy, with drinks and snacks available.
Kempton Steam Museum next door to the railway is also open where you'll have the opportunity to see the world's largest triple-expansion engine as high as four stacked double-decker buses working and 'in steam.'
With children's tickets at £2.50 and adults' at £4.50, there's no excuse to miss this unique springtime celebration.
Hampton Kempton Waterworks Railway is open from 10:30am to 4pm each day.
