Three films featuring the award-winning Sound team from Twickenham Film Studios have been shortlisted for Oscars.

The films include 'No Time to Die', which was the final blockbuster outing of Daniel Craig as James Bond.

Also on the list is Kenneth Branagh's film 'Belfast', which tells the story of a young boy growing up amid the troubles in the late 1960s.

The third is 'Last Night in Soho', which is a British psychological horror film directed by Edgar Wright and starring Thomasin McKenzie.

The fact that three out of the ten films on the Oscars shortlist feature experts from TFS shines a light on the global talent found on our doorstep.

And it confirms the pre-eminence of a team that has a long history of both Oscar and BAFTA success.

The Studios are particularly renowned for their Foley team, which is the reproduction of everyday sound effects that are added to films, videos, and other media to bring them to life.

On 'No Time to Die', the TFS team joined a stellar line up of artists on the feature working closely with Supervising Sound Editor Oliver Tarney.

The Foley Supervisor was Hugo Adams alongside Foley Mixer, Adam Mendez; Foley Artists, Andrea King, Sue Harding; and Foley Assistants, Sophia Hardman and Oli Ferri.

The TFS team working on 'Belfast' included Sound Mixers, Simon Chase and Niv Adiri. Sound Design was by Soundbyte Studios and Supervised by James Mather.

The Foley Mixer was Sophia Hardman alongside Foley Artists, Oli Ferris and Sue Harding, and Foley Editor, Arthur Graley

On 'Last Night in Soho', TFS experts joined Lead Mixer Julian Slater with Tim Cavagin and William Miller in co-mixing Sound for the film.

The Studios have recently been granted planning consent for an ambitious expansion 'breathing new life into the area'.

The £10 million development will provide 60 new jobs on top of the hundreds of people who currently work on the site in St Margarets.

The expansion will create an extra 19,000 sq ft of floor space, including a new TV studio, and is predicted to boost the local economy by some £2.5million a year.

Teams at the Studios, which were established in 1913, have won a host of awards including an Oscar for sound on Bohemian Rhapsody and a Bafta for sound mixing on the World War One drama, 1917.
