Ham House is on Antiques Roadshow this Sunday!
Ham House will be on Antiques Roadshow this weekend, it was announced today.
The mansion near Teddington will feature on the BBC One programme this Sunday 12 September at 8pm.
The episode will be available on iPlayer and you can watch it HERE.
The blurb for the episode states: "Could an 18th-century robe be the most valuable Chinese treasure ever found on the show?"
Antiques Roadshow is now in its 44th series and last came to Richmond in 2013.
The popular programme involves members of the public presenting their antiques to the panel of experts for valuation.
The history of the items is explored before they are appraised - with some such as this Banksy painting eventually selling for hundreds of thousands of pounds.
Ham House was announced as a filming location for the new series of Antiques Roadshow back in March.
Residents were invited to fill in an application to go on the show, as the usual roadshow open to the public could not take place due to social distancing restrictions.
Filming for the Ham House episode took place in June and Nub News spotted the famous marquee in the grounds, along with production vehicles and expert Lennox Cato.
Antiques Roadshow presenter Fiona Bruce also filmed a segment for the show on Hammertons Ferry, to their delight.
Nub News looks forward to seeing the full programme!
