Teddington Choral Society will resume its weekly rehearsals on Monday September 7th, 2026 at St Catherine's School in Twickenham (Cross Deep, Twickenham, TW1 4QJ) from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.

Teddington Choral Society which is currently around 110 members performs three main concerts during the year. Workshops are a regular feature, together with social evenings.

Julian Collings was appointed as Musical Director in 2019 and since then the choir has been thriving with very imaginative and successful programming. The repertoire includes both contemporary music and established classics.

TCS is a very welcoming and supportive choir. Sectional sessions are regularly organised and supporting files to help practising the music are provided each term.

This year Christmas programme will include "Make we merry" by David Bednall, "A Christmas Mass" by Ronald Corp, "A Crown of Roses" by Tchaikovski, an original composition by Greg May (choir's accompanist) and various carols.

In March the choir will propose a special concert to celebrate its 75th anniversary and will perform Elgar's "The Dream of Gerontius" and the premiere of a Special Commission.

The summer concert will propose "Mass in blue "by Will Todd and more.

The choir has currently openings for sopranos, tenors and basses singers. If you would like to try us you are welcome to come for our "taster sessions". Please contact our New Members secretary at [email protected].
