Sunday saw Teddington welcome Sevenoaks to the Broom Road, HQ hoping to make it back to back wins after their away win at Brighton.
The home side was unaffected by the torrential downpour and got off to the best possible start with Kyle White slotting home a trademark slip flick after lots of high Teddington pressure.
With the next attack of the game Teddington turned the ball over again and Mike Mooran stuck one into the roof of the net from a tight angle. With two quick goals, they looked threatening on every fast-paced foray forward and Sevenoaks were being stretched in all parts of the field.
The 3rd quarter saw Teddington push to put the game to bed and their efforts were rewarded when Kyle White again added another to his tally to make it 3-0.
As the weather began to clear Sevenoaks finally gathered the kind of momentum they are known for as a team and brought themselves back in through a well taken Penalty corner.
As both teams tired, the game opened up and there was a sense there were more goals to be had. After a trademark assist from Ed Treece, the ball fell nicely for Laurie Bowden who on his last game for Teddington had to score and slotted his reverse neatly into the bottom corner.
This week's win and other results in the league saw four teams move onto 12 points, including newly promoted Old Loughtonians who are next up for Teddington at the weekend. With two young sides and Teddington going into the game having scored eight goals in two games, it promises to be a thriller.
