Having won back-to-back games for the first time this season and scoring 8 in the process, the Teddies looked to continue their scintillating form travelling to regular league favourites Old Loughtonians. James Hall reports on the 4-3 away day victory.
Teddington came out of the gates much faster, dominating the ball and creating a number of great chances before Robbie Shepherdson delivered a goal with a seemingly slow-motion reverse strike.
With the Teddies eager to push on and get another, they were frustrated by some solid goalkeeping. At then at the other end on the stroke of half time Old Loughts delivered a well worked short corner routine to draw level.
Teddington refused to let the equaliser rattle them, literally erupting in the third quarter. Yet another clinical goal in the season for Kyle White, saw Teddington back in front, with a firm strike through the keeper.
James Hall jumped on Teddington's continued pressure in the press and was rewarded, when he found a reverse high into the side netting, following a steal in the midfield. This was his first of the season and first in the National League.
