Teddington Ladies 1s made their second trip of the season to Battersea Park, this time to face Wanderers.

This week saw two junior Teddies players added to the squad, with Phoebe George making her first team debut and Emily Cane playing her second first team game of the season.

The visitors applied the pressure literally from the pushback creating several early opportunities to take the lead, but they were kept at bay by the Wanderers keeper.

Teddington maintained the majority of possession throughout the first 20 minutes, with Wanderers setting up a few attacks that were cleared calmly by the Teddington defence.

The game changed quickly however when Wanderers were awarded a short corner which they dispatched to go 1-0 up.

Teddington found themselves chasing the game but managed to level the score from a short corner, Rasna Sandhu scoring from close range.

Both teams continued to push hard and Wanderers were able to score another on the half time whistle to make it 2-1.

The remainder of the game was a very tight affair with Teddington creating and the Wanderers keeper making some excellent saves.

Teddington kept attacking, but Wanderers were able to extend their lead from a rapid break away to go 3-1 up. Teddington responded immediately with Lily St Clair scoring from the first attack from the restart to make it 3-2.

Under intense pressure, Isabel Pinder made some crucial saves to deny Wanderers a 4th. It wasn't long before Teddington equalised from a short corner with Eleanor Jolly striking the ball into the bottom left corner.

The final few minutes were close, with both teams looking for the winner, but it ran out a 3-3 draw. ngton had one last attack but ran out of time as the final whistle blew, ending the match as a 3-3 draw.
