The Club are delighted to confirm the first of our pre season friendly matches in the build up to the start of the 2022/23 season.

Current Pro 14 champions Leinster Rugby will take on Harlequins at the Twickenham Stoop, kick off 19:30 on Friday 2 September.

The eight time champions will provide formidable opposition to Harlequins with a squad laced with Irish and British and Ireland Lions players including Johnny Sexton, Tadhg Furlong, Jack Conan, James Ryan, James Lowe, Robbie Henshaw and Garry Ringrose. They are currently top of the table in the inaugural United Rugby Championship.

The match is a return fixture from September 2021 where Harlequins lost 40-21 in the Aviva stadium.

Harlequins Head Coach Tabai Matson said "pre season is important moment for us as we build up to a fast start in the Premiership. We look forward to testing ourselves against high quality opposition and entertaining our supporters. The match promises to be a brilliant opportunity for the squad and we can't wait!"

Further details on the event will be released nearer the fixture but 2022/23 Harlequins Season Ticket Members will have this match included within their Membership. Remaining tickets will go on General Sale later this summer with details to be announce on Harlequins digital channels.
