England's under-performing rugby team has the chance to be prove

it's improving with matches against two of the best teams in the world, less than a year out from the 2023 World Cup in France. In consecutive weekends in November coach Eddie Jones's squad will face the All Blacks (November 19) and current World Champions South Africa (November 26) at Twickenham. The two other matches in the Autumn Nation Series will be against Argentina and Japan over the previous two weekends. As well as these testing pre-World Cup fixtures England's last Guinness Six Nations before the World Cup will be three big matches at Twickenham a year from now against France, Scotland and Italy. In a message to fans yesterday (March 24), the much-criticised RFU said thank you for 'ensuring a sell-out of all five international matches at Twickenham Stadium this season." It added: "It was fantastic to finally welcome back capacity crowds." Today RFU chief executive Bill Sweeney told a press conference the players had faith in current coach Eddie Jones and they were 'heading in the right direction.'
