IT'S beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Teddington, with just 23 days to go until the big celebration.

Part of those Xmas preparations include the all-important Christmas tree and there's plenty of places to get yours in Teddington.

We've picked four of the best Christmas tree sales in our town in our guide below.

From sustainable spruces to fake firs there's something for everyone here.

Where to buy your Christmas Tree in Teddington

Pines and Needles at Bushy Park - ethical trees

The pop-up store from Pines and Needles is back in Bushy Park this month, selling trees from the Scottish highlands.

Four varieties of Christmas tree are available and you can get Norway Spruces and Nordmann firs in sizes from 3ft to 12ft, though the firs are more expensive - prices range from £41.95 up to £214.95.

For Teddington residents wanting a sustainably sourced tree, Pines and Needles claim to have a positive environmental impact - the company say their forests of firs absorb CO2 year-round which offsets their greenhouse gas emissions involved in transporting the trees across the UK at winter.

They are also looking to change their fleet of diesel vehicles to electric and are increasingly using organic growing methods to help preserve 'fragile eco-ystems' near their farms.

The store in Bushy Park is open from 8-5.45pm every day until 24 December - and you can find out more on the Pines and Needles website.

Collis School - trees and festive fun

Many schools in Teddington are selling Christmas trees this weekend (5 and 6 December) but if you'd rather wait a bit longer to deck the halls then check out Collis' sale on 11 Saturday.

The school on Fairfax Road will be selling Nordmann firs in a smaller range of heights (5ft to 8ft) but the prices are cheaper, ranging from £50 to £85 for the tallest.

Delivery is an option but if you go in person to get your tree you can also enjoy the school's Christmas Fair which features games, Xmas singalongs, a barbecue and Christmas cocktails for the adults.

A ticketed silent disco and Santa's Grotto will also be there to help raise funds for the school. The event runs from 12-4pm - for more information and to book clock HERE.

Buds Office Plants - trees for businesses

Are you a Teddington business, looking for a Christmas Tree without the hassle?

Buds Office Plants by Teddington station delivers, builds, decorates and removes Christmas trees for its clients across South West London.

Customers can choose from a range of colour schemes and lights if they're opting for a decorated tree.

The service isn't cheap - undecorated 5ft trees cost £150 and the most expensive decorated firs are on offer for £650 - but Buds stresses that its Christmas trees are of the highest quality and its service is by experienced employees. They also say that if you can find a better quote they will beat it! Find out more and order yours on the

company website

Squires - artificial and cheaper trees

If you're looking for a range of options then check out Squires in Twickenham. The popular garden centre, near Fulwell and North Teddington, is selling standard Nordmann firs though stock varies between centres and no price is listed on the website - so it's worth ringing up and checking. Also on offer are smaller and cheaper pot grown varieties including the 'Picea Perfecta' which costs a bargain £7.99. And Squires has a range of artificial trees, including pre-lit or snow-covered, if your house isn't suited to a 'real' fir or you just want to save yourself the hassle. Visit the Squires website to find out more Where will you be getting your Christmas tree this year?
