During August two different series of sermons will be preached at Christ Church, Christ Church Avenue, Teddington, TW11 9AB.

On Sunday August 2^nd (11am and 6pm), Sunday August 9^th (11am), and Sunday August 30^th (11am and 6pm), a series of sermons will be preached by Reverend Stockford which will address some of the Scriptures used by Handel for his oratorio, The Messiah. And yes, one of them will be "…and He shall reign forever and ever. King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. Hallelujah!" - words that are found in three places in the Book of Revelation, Chapter 19 v6, 11 v15, & 19 v16. But you'll have to come to find out which one it will be!

The second series will be on texts from Scripture which are greatly misused and misunderstood by people, even those who attend church. This series will be preached by Dan Peet at 6pm on Sunday 9^th August, and on Sundays 16^th and 23^rd August, at 11am & 6pm. Texts such as Philippians 4 v13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" will be addressed, and their real meaning explained.
