Heartbreak House at Hampton Hill Theatre
From Rhinoceros Theatre Company, who brought Shakespeare's 'KING LEAR' to Hampton Hill Theatre last year in an acclaimed production, comes a staging of George Bernard Shaw's most heartfelt, witty and piercingly satirical play: a tragicomedy of society folk perched on the precipice of life and death.
World War I is looming in the skies above. A semi-mad retired sea captain presides over a family and guests bickering, flirting, anguishing and philosophising in the countdown to apocalypse.
Friday, June 2nd
The Seven Headed Dragon at Normansfield Theatre
Dragon Drama presents an immersive theatrical experience taking inspiration from the Italian Folk Tale of the Seven Headed Dragon.
This event is non performance and is a jolly adventure through time as Normansfield Theatre does battle with yes you've guessed it! A Seven Headed Dragon!
There will be wicked villains, there will be heroes and heroines, there will be Dragons that burst through the floor breathing fire and smoke over everyone, there will be unacceptable and dastardly behaviour, hankies and tears, princesses and sly old witches, loyal dogs and enchanted forests from which one risks never returning (of course the exact place our hero ventures).
Crack comedy at Ram Jam Records
Welcome to the home of Kingston's original and longest running comedy night.
A night of irresistible improv comedy from some of London's finest players. Kickstart the weekend with a razor-sharp, spontaneous, brand new and never-to-be-seen-again show that will leave you saying, like after ALL the best nights out, "you really had to be there…"
You'll be asked for suggestions which will be turned into unforgettable scenes, characters, and songs, all made up right there on the spot. Had a particularly eventful night out recently? They might just ask you about it…

Cry Freedom - An evening of poetry, prose and music
It's a busy one at Hampton Hill Theatre this weekend!
A very special one off afternoon of poetry, prose and music awaits this Sunday exploring themes associated with 'Freedom'. Including society and freedom; women and freedom; incarceration.
Inspired by the struggle for freedom in Ukraine, the event brings together over 15 poets, actors and musicians from across London and the south-east to Hampton Hill Theatre.
Readings and performances will include original works by local poets and renowned pieces such as 1984 by George Orwell.
The theatre invites visitors to come along and hear its collective responses to one of the dominant themes of our world today.
What's on in Teddington is sponsored by the Landmark Arts Centre, The Lensbury and The Wharf. If it wasn't for our sponsors, our what's on section and news site would not be possible. Please consider supporting them in return, thank you.
