A Little Life at Richmond Theatre
James Norton (Happy Valley) stars in the theatrical event of 2023 in the English language premiere of A Little Life from the visionary director Ivo van Hove.
The play follows four college friends in New York City: aspiring actor Willem, successful architect Malcolm, struggling artist JB, and prodigious lawyer Jude.
As ambition, addiction, and pride threaten to pull the group apart, they always find themselves bound by their love for Jude and the mysteries of his past.
The much-anticipated play also stars Luke Thompson (Bridgerton, Hamlet), Omari Douglas (It's A Sin, Constellations), Zach Wyatt (The Witcher, I and You), Elliot Cowan (The Crown, 2:22 A Ghost Story), Zubin Varla (Tammy Faye, Equus), Nathalie Armin (Force Majeure, The Doctor), and Emilio Doorgasingh (Best of Enemies, The Kite Runner).
Thursday, March 16th - Saturday, March 18th
Bull at Hampton Hill Theatre
A razor-sharp play about the fine line between office politics and playground bullying, Bull offers ringside seats as three employees fight to keep their jobs.
Mike Bartlett's acid-tongued play Bull opened at the Young Vic, London, in 2015, directed by Clare Lizzimore. It was originally performed at the Crucible Studio Theatre, Sheffield, in 2013, where it won the UK Theatre Awards for Best New Play. It also won an Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliate Theatre in 2015.
Friday, March 17th - Sunday, March 19th
Paper, Ink, Print Festival at Landmark Arts Centre
The Landmark Arts Centre is set to launch a new biennial printmaking festival that will champion the art of hand-printmaking, artists' books and papermaking this weekend.
The inaugural fair will include a whole programme of talks, workshops and demonstrations alongside special exhibits and over 50 stands of artists selling their work directly to visitors.
The local area has a wealth of printmaking history and many print and book artists who have exhibited with the Landmark in the past. The centre wants to build on that and bring a vibrant new event to Surrey and the South West of London that will encourage visitors to learn more about the difference between hand-printmaking and digital prints, to discover what book art really is, and dive into the pulp of hand papermaking!
Friday, March 17th
