AUDITIONS - THE SOUND OF MUSIC

From the team that's brought you the sell out productions of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Charlie and The Chocolate Factory at Hampton Hill Theatre, we are super excited to announce our next big show is the all time classic, The Sound Of Music.

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic cast of young actors aged 7-18 to be part of the full length production of the show which will be performed at Hampton Hill Theatre in January 2027 for a minimum of 4 performancesThere are lead roles, supporting roles and ensemble roles available for all ages and we will be double casting the lead roles where possible.

Auditions are Monday September 7th at 6.30pm with recalls on Thursday September 10th at 6.30pm. Rehearsals commence Sunday September 13th and run throughout the Autumn term on Sundays in Hampton Hill. There are also some weekday rehearsals for principal roles.

The production is being directed and choreographed by Emma Louise Tinniswood and Ashley Johnson, who between them have directed and produced over 250 youth theatre productions and have nearly 50 years professional experience between them.

Show fees apply which include rehearsals, a script to keep, costume and a show T-shirt.
