UPDATE: Emergency services called after casualty at Hampton Wick Station

South Western Railway services between Kingston and Teddington have now been restored after emergency services were called to deal with an incident involving a casualty on the tracks.

All lines were blocked for approximately 2 hours, with service resuming around 3pm.

London Ambulance Service said: ""We were called today at 10.31am to reports of a person injured at Hampton Wick station.

"We sent a number of resources including an ambulance, a medic in a response car, an incident response officer, members of our Hazardous Area Response Team and London's air ambulance.

"We treated a man at the scene before taking him to a London major trauma centre."

British transport police added: "British Transport Police were called to Hampton Wick station at 10.33am today following reports of a casualty on the tracks.

"Paramedics also attended and a person has been taken to hospital for treatment.

"The incident is not being treated as suspicious."
