Railway services between Kingston and Teddington are currently suspended as emergency services deal with an ongoing incident between the stations.

South Western Railway are predicting disruption will last till around 3pm and are advising commuters to plan alternative routes and allow additional time for their journeys.

The area affected includes those travelling between Wimbledon and Twickenham as well as passengers travelling to Norbiton, Hampton Wick and Strawberry Hill.

Via its Twitter account, South Western Railway has told passengers: "Your journey is likely to take longer and you may need to use a replacement bus to complete your journey. We will let you know when this changes...disruption to our services is expected until 3pm. As the investigations are ongoing this may change but we will let you know if it does."
