Nearby volunteer-run Twickenham festival, High Tide 2024 was hailed as "the best yet" with more than 80 bands performing on Sunday, 28 July.

The free south west London festival saw residents from Twickenham and beyond, head down to the area, listen to great music and support local businesses.

Made possible with support from Richmond Council, Discover Twickenham BID, individual local businesses and crowd funders.

This year 70 individual businesses and over 300 crowd funders helped made High Tide happen, ensuring all bands and acts were fully paid.

Co-owner of Eel Pie Records, Kevin Jones said: "Well, the sun shone brightly for High Tide 2024 and so did all of the 80+ bands and artists that played for us at, what is being said around Twickenham, the best High Tide yet.

"The beautiful weather and the wonderfully diverse music on offer brought the crowds out and created a bumper day for many Twickenham businesses.
