The sun finally came out and so did the visitors on Sunday as thousands of people descended upon Hampton Court Palace for the three-day Artisan Fayre.

After disappointing weather kept the crowds away on the first two days (12,13 May), the hundreds of stalls were busy selling everything from homemade chutney and cheeses, Hampton Court Gin, handbags and numerous craft items including beautifully carved woodwork and pieces of art.

The bustling fayre was full of independent stalls offering an array of items

The backdrop of the Palace garden and fountains, and the perfectly-groomed yew trees, made it extra special for visitors who had never visited the Palace before who were also able to take in the stunning view down the Long Water.

There was something for everyone including the little ones with an irresistible 'playground' of vintage and traditional games, all free of charge.
