This week will see a number of roadworks take place which could impact your routes across the Richmond borough.

Emergency works

Lower Mortlake Road, Richmond contra-flow is currently in place with a road closure on Castlegate at the junction of Lower Mortlake Road for Cadent Gas utility works. Estimated completion date 19/05/2023. Contact: Cadent Gas 08000 159 057 Or TFL [email protected]

Colston Road, East Sheen is currently closed outside 36 for Thames Water sewer repair works. Estimated completion date 12/05/2023. Contact: Thames Water 0800 316 9800

Rivermeads Avenue, Twickenham is closed outside 16 for Thames Water utility works. Estimated completion date 15/05/2023. Contact: Thames Water 0800 316 9800

Planned works

A310 Strawberry Vale, Twickenham and Manor Road Teddington will be closed for major highway Resurfacing works commencing on 14/05/2023 until 24/05/2023.Night Works Contact: 020 8487 5294   

Burlington Avenue, Kew will be closed at the junction with Mortlake Road for Thames Water works, works commencing 12/05/2023 until 15/05/2023. Contact: Thames Water 0800 316 9800

Hampton Road, Twickenham multi-way temporary traffic signals at the junction with Sixth Cross Road for Thames water sewer cleaning works, works commencing 18/05/2023 until 19/05/2023. NIGHT WORKS. Contact: Thames Water 0800 316 9800

Hampton Road, Teddington multi-way temporary traffic signals outside 44a SGN utility works, works commencing 15/05/2023 until 19/05/2023. Contact: SGN 07397 861052

Hanworth Road, Whitton two-way temporary traffic signals opposite 744 for TFL bus shelter replacement works on 15/05/2023. Contact: Trueform 0208 5614959

High Street, Hampton multi-way temporary traffic signals outside 46 for Openreach utility works, works commencing 20/05/2023 until 21/05/2023. Contact: Telent 01268 269300

Friars Stile Road, Richmond multi-way temporary traffic signals at the junction with Onslow Road for Virgin Media utility works, works commencing 15/05/2023 until 17/05/2023. Contact: Virgin Media 01480 598910

Petersham Road, Petersham multi-way temporary traffic signals at the junction with Cedar heights for T-Mobile utility works, works commencing 18/05/2023 until 19/05/2023. Contact: WHP Telecoms 01925 424100

Rocks Lane, Barnes multi-way temporary traffic signals from junction of Station Road to junction of Church Road/Elm Grove/Queen Elizabeth Walk/Castelnau for Cadent Gas utility works. Estimated completion date 21/08/2023. Contact: Cadent Gas 01455 232 822. Week beginning Monday 1st May multi-way temporary traffic signals on Rocks Lane at the junction of Ranelagh Avenue.

Vine Road, Barnes will be closed near lever crossing for Streetlight replacement works, works commence 17/05/2023 until 18/05/2023. Contact: Street lighting 07854 546192

Vine Road, Barnes will be closed lever crossing for Network Rail works, works commence 20/05/2023 until 21/05/2023. Night Works Contact: Network Rail 07967 668 640

TfL Works

Chertsey Road, Richmond – junction Chudleigh Road – Lane closure for major gas main utility works in relation to the Biomethane project on Rugby Road. Single lane closure for each phase: – each phase to be complete before the next phase commences. Phase 4: Friday 2nd June – Sunday 4th June. Contact: South East Eco Utilities 07793 442 942

Mortlake Road, Kew multi-way temporary traffic signals at the junction with Ruskin Avenue, this will also include a road closure on Burlington Avenue, Kew at the junction with Mortlake Road for Thames Water works. Estimated completion date 15/05/2023. Contact: Thames Water 0800 316 9800
