Lensbury hotel and restaurant will open on Super Saturday

The Lensbury Club in Teddington today announced that its hotel and restaurant will re-open on Super Saturday, July 4 when many other venues also plan to restart their businesses.

The club in Broom Road, Teddington has been open for several weeks for members to book tennis courts with strict social distance rules.

In a twitter message today, The Lensbury said:"Welcome back. We're re-opening our hotel and restaurant doors again on Saturday 4th July and cannot wait to safely welcome you back."

On the website it added:"We anticipate reopening much of our Hotel and Club on Saturday 4th July, subject to the latest Government advice and safely welcoming you back with the warmest of hospitality.

"We have been truly overwhelmed by the support, kind messages and goodwill shown by our employees, members, guests and local community throughout this difficult time and we are looking forward to reuniting once again."
