Teddington's board game cafe re-brands with a sweet twist
By Tilly O'Brien 19th Aug 2026
A board game cafe in Teddington has had a re-brand.
Drinks and Dice, which is located on Church Road and first opened in January last year, has changed its name to Ice and Dice.
According to owner Robin Kerremans, the cafe is now selling "high-quality, house-made artisanal ice cream and a bunch of special iced drinks to go with the board games (or just on its own for people not into games)" as part of the re-brand.
To celebrate the re-brand, Ice and Dice will be hosting a taster event this Friday (21 August) after 5pm and all of Saturday (22 August) for people to try the new house-made ice cream and the pop up Asian Kitchen with the cafe's new chef Rob.
Speaking about the events, Kerremans told Nub News: "Everyone is welcome and we've also opened up access for seating in the garden with some live music - so if the weather is nice that will certainly be something to check out!"
In November last year, Kerremans decided to put the cafe up for sale.
At the time, Kerremans told Nub News: "There are a variety of reasons; it's not running as well as I would have liked, but it's also a personal thing.
"I feel like it's time for a new season in my life. It's not guaranteed that I will sell it but I do want to see if there are any potential interested buyers out there."
However, he decided to keep the cafe and re-brand it instead.
