It was an excellent sporting weekend for Teddington.

All three Teddington Cricket Club teams picked up important wins to keep them competitive at the top of the table.

The first XI hosted North Middlesex in a Middlesex County Cricket Premiership tie and won convincingly.

Teddington secured an 86 run victory at Bushy Park with a total of 258 for 8 after 50 overs.

Their opponents were bowled all out for 182 after 44 overs.

Batsman Harry Evans and Nick Pryde performed especially well scoring 71 and 51 runs respectively.

The second team also had a good weekend travelling to Highgate and defeating them by 10 wickets.

Teddington thirds had a much more closely fought game as they beat Hampstead by 19 runs.

Hampton and Richmond Borough, who last season finished just outside of the playoffs in the National League South, English football's sixth tier, had some exciting news this weekend.

The Hampton based club have re-signed eight of their key players from last season as they look to build on a good season that was cut short due to coronavirus.

The headline signing will surely be club captain Luke Ruddick who has resigned with The Beavers for another season.
