A young man named Henry Bunkall has resolved to complete a marathon next Sunday 14th March carrying 25kgs - a third of his body weight.

Henry hopes that his ambitious run will help raise funds for children's mental health charity, Young Minds. The young athlete shared his strong feelings about the cause on his JustGiving page:

"This is a charity very personal to me and one that I believe makes a legitimate difference to children throughout the country.

"At a time when mental health issues are at an all time high, any donations you make are vital and have the potential to save lives."

Henry will start his marathon at Teddington Lock, covering a total of 42.2KMs, and will turn around near Wandsworth to end up back in Teddington.

"Hopefully by that point my spine will have not given way!" Henry jokes, and stresses that "any donation, no matter the value, will make a huge difference."

People are also encouraged to share Henry's journey on social media if they are unable to donate, as he is trying to raise as much awareness for the run as possible.
