Teddington pub could reopen in November following two year closure

A Teddington pub, which has been closed for over two years, is set to reopen in Nvember after it was sold back in March.
Fifteen local investors, along with the help of extra financing, have raised the necessary amount to purchase and save The Lion on Wick Road.
The pub was previously up for sale on Fleurettes for £950k and was bought by the investors from the pub chain Stonegate Group.
A social media post said: "It's official! The pride of Teddington, The Lion Pub is to reopen in November after being closed for a few years.
"The hope is that this will become a community hub as much as a community pub.
"We merry bunch of locals want this local to be more than a community pub, a community hub and less of a boozer!"
