Teddington Udney Park update: MP requests urgent meeting with Tory peer and AHH chairman over fields' future [h1]What topics will come up on Question Time tonight?[.h2] The looming winter energy crisis is bound to be a topic of conversation. National papers today all reported that consumers are facing dramatic tariff rises amid record high prices for gas. Two energy firms have already gone bust and there are fears that price hikes will put the elderly and fuel poor at risk of not being able to pay for heating. There are also fears of empty supermarket shelves and panic buying as Tesco and Farmers Unions are warning of shortages in drivers and labourers. And with COP26 less than a month away the climate crisis is an even hotter topic than ever. Prime Minister Boris Johnson made a speech to the United Nations this morning calling on world leaders to take further action on emissions. He stated that COP26 would be a 'turning point' but many on the panel may be sceptical of this claim. Transport Secretary Grant Shapps could also be challenged on his plan to abolish PCR tests for double-jabbed international travellers this half term. Meanwhile, Shadow Justice Secretary David Lammy may be asked for his views on a damning investigation into conditions at HMP Bronzefield prison in Surrey. The report, looking into the death of a newborn baby at the women's prison, revealed its highly critical judgements today. [h1]What could Munira be asked?[.h2] Teddington MP Munira Wilson could be asked for her views on a Lib Dem policy to give parents of pupils catch-up vouchers worth £200 per child. The £5 billion taxpayer-funded plan has been criticised by teachers as being impractical and impossible to measure. But it was defended by Lib Dem leader Ed Davey as a way to involve parents more in education, and Wilson recently expressed her support for a ringfenced wellbeing fund for school pupils as part of catch-up vouchers.
