Teddington-based charity's advent calendar returns for third year with 'Season of Kindness' twist

The Teddington-based disability charity Ruils has announced that its Christmas Advent Calendar with a difference is back for a third year.

Ruils is a local user-led charity that supports children and adults with disabilities and the elderly to live independently, be part of their community and live life to the full. It provides information, advice, befriending and activities to clients and their families.

Residents are encouraged to opt for the charity's 'Season of Kindness' calendar this year which features landmarks from across the Richmond borough and daily acts of kindness to be completed behind each door.

Ruils is asking for a £10 donation per calendar where proceeds will help to support the charity with their work with over 4,000 people across south west London.

A spokesperson for the Teddington charity said: "#ASeasonOfKindness is all about how small, everyday acts of kindness can have a massive impact on someones life.

"By participating this Christmas you will help Ruils in removing the barriers to living an independent life and help local people have choices and control."
