NIX Academy's 'Sister Act Jr.' Audition Workshop
Saturday 18 January, NIX Academy at Hampton Wick Infants, 1.30pm - 4pm.
NIX Academy is holding auditions for Sister Act Jr., a professional performance featuring a full set, makeup, and the guidance of West End teachers.
The auditions are free and all who audition will be guaranteed role in the show, which is a full-scale production, including professional sets, costumes, and makeup.
West End teachers will be leading the rehearsals, providing expert coaching and training
and performers will have the chance to perform in a professional environment, no matter their experience level.
All ages and experience levels are invited to audition, whether you're a seasoned performer or stepping onto the stage for the first time, NIX Academy wants to see you shine in its uplifting, high-energy musical.
There will also be an audition workshop this Saturday, 18 January and both the workshop and audition will be held at NIX Academy on Normansfield Avenue in Hampton Wick, running from 1.30pm – 4pm.

Tango for St Mary with St Alban
Saturday 18 January, St Mary Parish Hall, 7.15pm - 10pm.
On Saturday 18th January, Freedom Tango will be providing a show of tango, performed by class members, in aid of St Mary's with St Albans Church building appeal – Building Anew.
The show will be followed by a tango taster class for audience members and following this, a chance to practice and to enjoy tango music with glass or two of wine.

Recycle Reuse Regift: Sustainability Event
Sunday 19 January, St Mary's Parish Hall, 10.30am - 12pm.
Come along! We will have several stalls set up for you to swap your pre-loved books, clothes & accessories, and toys, or any unwanted Christmas presents.
Bring along any items you would like to exchange and see what you can find. Or if you prefer to simply donate any items that are gathering dust, bring them along too. All remaining items will be donated to local charities.
This event runs from 10:30am until 12noon and is free and open to all.

Teddington Cricket Club Winter Nets
Sunday 19 January, St Mary's University, 12.15pm - 5pm.
Teddington Cricket Club would like to welcome new members to their winter net sessions starting in January.
The net sessions for junior girls, boys and women will run for 11 weeks, starting on Sunday 19th January at St Mary's University and are suitable for those of all abilities. We will be offering both softball and hardball training depending on age and experience.
The senior net sessions run from 11th February for 7 weeks at St Paul's school, SW13 9JT. These sessions are for those aged 16+ and are suitable for those of any standard who are looking for a senior side in the summer.
These sessions are a fantastic way to get back into cricket ahead of the 2025 season and a chance for potential new members to meet the coaching team and future team mates before deciding on whether or not to join the club in the summer and beyond.
