Screenwriting: An Introduction to the Art of Story on Screen - 1 day course, Landmark Arts Centre, 10am - 4pm.

Open to all adults who love film and television – no experience required. This one-day screenwriting workshop explores the structure of stories and how screen stories differ from other forms of storytelling and writing. Participants will learn about screenplay elements, including structure, character development, genre, and dialogue, with writing exercises to help get started on a short film screenplay.

The Lensbury Summer Tennis Camps, The Lensbury, running until 29 August

Join us throughout the summer holiday for our Summer Tennis Camps. Between 23rd July – 29th August, we will be hosting the Red Ball Open (6-8 yrs), Orange & Green Ball Open (9-10 yrs) and the Yellow Ball Open (11+ yrs).

Weekend of Steam, Hampton Kempton Waterworks Railway, 10.30am - 4pm

Come along and enjoy our Weekend of Steam! featuring 'Darent' our beautiful heritage steam locomotive for train rides and picnics.  Kempton Steam Museum, next door to the railway is holding a special family Science Show and you'll also have the opportunity to see the world's largest working triple expansion steam engine, as high as four stacked double-decker buses 'in steam.'
